Here's a nifty little Facebook game to play (in lieu of the usual stupid "Movies of the '80s" quizzes).Instead of listing a status such as "out to lunch," or whatever, do the following:
Rules:
- Grab the book closest to you. Now.
- Go to page 56.
- Find the 5th sentence.
- Write that sentence as your status.
- Copy these instructions as a comment to your status.
- Don't go looking for your favorite book, or the coolest one you have -- just grab the closest one.
When I did that, I got: "No, it's not Star Wars." I actually kinda liked that one.

p.s. the word verification i have to fill out says "press"...that's right...a real word!!
It's all the more ironic that I'm at work and happen to have a tech book nearby (which, had never even been opened until now) called: The Essential Client/Server Survival Guide (Orfali, Harkey, Edwards).
Regarding the word verification "press"...Blogger's security setup is like that like that old story about an infinite set of monkeys on typewriters :)
